ChaoticTour and Review

Adelaide McGregor was spinning out of control, in a world of pain that no one knew anything about. She put up a front, displaying a picture perfect girl that everyone wanted to be, but no one was truly there for her. Then she was sent away to live near her grandparents due to bad behavior when her mother decided she just didn't want to deal with her any longer. Without a penny to her name and nowhere else to go, her life was uprooted to North Carolina. Everything seems to be changing for the better with her fresh new start until she meets a guy who flips her world upside down all over again. Sometimes you have to make it through the struggles of imperfection in life for everything to come out as complete perfection, but Della hasn't quite learned that lesson yet.

Review
What a great book.  First I have to say this is my first book by this author, but I plan on reading more from her.  Character Creation is always an important factor in any book I read, and C. A Williams has created characters that are fabulous.  Della is a wonderful young girl, struggling to overcome her past.  I do love the interactions between all the characters and the by-play or relationships.

Character growth occurs in this book.  The only problem I truly had is that the book left me hanging.  I truly HATE cliffhangers of any sort.  The only other issue I had was Della's mother, gah what a Beeeyatch!  This book is one heck of an emotional roller coaster ride.  One second you are literally laughing along with Della, the next you are practically in tears with her.

I love moral lessons in a book, and this one does have one.  It's the one I always told my girls, people who love you accept you for who and what you are regardless of past indiscretions. And I love that Della learns that important lesson along the way.

I hate spoilers so I won't go into any other details.  Just go grab yourself a copy of this wonderful story, it truly is a 5 star read.

Details/Disclaimer: Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
So I asked C.A. Williams what her choice of soundtrack for her book would be and this is what she has given me.  I chose one particular song from her list to include as a video and when you read this book you will surely understand why I chose it!
C.A. Williams list!
Miranda Lambert~ “Mama’s Broken Heart”
Pink~ “So What”
Mumford and Sons~ “I Will Wait”
Of Monsters and Men~ “Little Talks”
Taylor Swift~ “I knew you were trouble”
Emily Sande~ “Next to Me”
Britney Spears~ “Scream and Shout”
Maroon 5~ “Misery”
Rihanna~ “Stay”
Pink~ “Just Give Me a Reason”
Mackelmore & Ryan Lewis~ “Can’t Hold Us”

One Republic~ “If I lose Myself”

My Choice Song!
I am a stay at home mom to two crazy little boys, with another baby on the way.(Finally Pink!) I've been married to my high school sweetheart for almost six years now and he is my biggest supporter. I've always had a love for books since the time I first started reading and started swapping books with my mom when I got a little older. My love for reading turned into a love for writing and I've enjoyed every second of it.

The Wanted Bride Tour

Title-The Wanted Bride
By-Sylvia McDaniel
Genre: Short Contemporary
Publisher: Virtual Bookseller
Date of Publication: April 19, 2013
Number of pages: 232 pages
Word Count: 60,000
Cover Artist: Kat Baldwin

She’s a Runaway Bride
Valerie Burrows is running from a wedding, her attorney fiancé and the law. Pampered Valerie takes a bus to nowheresville, where she learns her cash and credit cards have been stolen. Left with only her designer clothes and luggage she takes on a new identity and must learn to be self-reliant. She swears off men, especially attorneys, only to find the one man who refuses a one night stand and wants a relationship.

He’s Looking For A Wife
Matt Jordan, the Colorado Crusher, is the most successful liability lawyer in the state. After the death of his brother-in-law, he realizes he’s ready to settle down with a family of his own. His only requirements are intelligent, great-looking, wants more than a hook-up and doesn’t lie. After witnessing the lies his father told his mother, he demands complete honesty. Yet Valerie Brown shows him sometimes in order to find yourself, you must become someone else. Even if that means lying.

In forty-eight hours a girl’s life could change completely.

Valerie stepped off the bus in the small town of Springtown, Colorado. Population 294. Salute!
In Amarillo she’d bought a ticket to Denver and pitched her wedding gown in the trash. After sitting beside a drug dealer all the way to Albuquerque, being proposed to by a parolee on
the way to Santa Fe, and awakening to an elderly woman riffling through her Louis Vuitton carry-on, it was time to ditch public transportation. She’d take a taxi to the nearest car rental
place and continue her journey in her own set of wheels.

The air brakes hissed as the driver released them, and the bus pulled away from the depot, which consisted of a bench in front of a café. The cold wind whipped right through her thin
clothes as she stood alone on the street. She pushed open the door to the small diner. A “Help
Wanted” sign banged against the glass. The greasy spoon was filled to capacity in the late evening, but suddenly her stomach growled, reminding her the Snickers bar she’d eaten in
Albuquerque was not a five-course meal.

The café grew quiet as Valerie pulled her luggage across the wooden floor, the wheels thump, thump, thumping. She sat down, sighing in relief, and the chatter resumed. She desperately needed a latte grande. A woman with stained white sneakers and a food splattered
dress stopped at her booth.

“What can I get you?” she asked.

“I’d like eggs Benedict with a skim, no whip, pumpkin spice latte. Make it a grande.”

The waitress glanced at her matching luggage. “Honey, I think you must have missed your bus stop. This here is Springtown, not Vail. I’m not Martha Stewart, and I don’t do lattes.”

Valerie frowned and bit back the quick retort that sprang to her lips. Had the woman never heard of Starbucks? “What do you have?” she asked, wondering if the bus had dropped her off on Mars, or if she was starring in her own personal Twilight Zone episode.

“Did you look at the menu?”

“No.”

“I’d suggest you start there,” the waitress said.

“Give me two eggs over easy, with coffee.” Valerie replied.

“Do you have any hazelnut cream to go in the coffee?”
“Here in Springtown our cows don’t produce flavors.” She pushed her pen back behind her ear. “My name is Fran if you need anything else.”

The waitress hurried off. Valerie gazed around the café and noticed the sheriff and a guy whose dark looks would normally have taken her breath away occupied a booth across the room.
However, in the last forty-eight hours she’d sworn off men.  Today her heart pounded a little harder, but only because the sheriff sat across from the tall, dark, handsome man. Surely two
states away no one would be searching for her. Yet.

With the number of criminals loose in this world, why would law enforcement be interested in a good girl with a temporary case of wedding insanity from Dallas? Her crime was minor
compared to the act of her two best friends. Or since they’d betrayed her, were they really her friends?
Soundtrack for The Wanted Bride!

Sylvia McDaniel said "Whoa -- I’d start out with Pink singing Blow Me One last Kiss and at the end, I’d have Pat Benatar singing Hit Me With Your Best Shot when Valerie is discovered. And at the very end Pat Benatar singing We Live For Love."

Time Thief!!!

FIRST IN A NEW SERIES FROM THE BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF THE DARK ONES NOVELS!

Outcast due to their ability to manipulate time, shunned by the mortal and immortal worlds alike, a Traveller’s life is anything but easy.

Peter Faa is a member of the Watch tracking down a murderer, and unfortunately, all clues seem to point toward his own estranged family of Travellers. Any of his cousins could be guilty, but which one? They’re all experts in the art of stealing time...

After surviving a lightning strike, Kiya Mortenson is determined to get just one thing in her life right. And if that means taking a job as nanny to five pugs on a campsite in the Oregon wilderness, then so be it. It doesn’t hurt that the job comes with some spectacular male eye candy, including her new boss’s gorgeous grandson. If only she didn’t keep having this strange sense of deja vu...

When Peter discovers his own family is stealing time from Kiya, all bets are off. While she may drive him crazy at times, it’s clear that it’s not just lightning that’s creating some serious sparks between them. And he’s not going to let secrets, lies, or a devious murderer keep Kiya from where she belongs: at his side.
How to review this book??? I will just have to be as honest as possible without giving away anything. Sorry guys but I just don't "DO" spoilers...

We have a brand new novel from one of the most humorous writers today! Kiya is a unique woman. She starts out the book, with a broken down heap of a car sitting in a doctors office while waiting for her appointment because she has been struck by lightening AGAIN! Yep lightning DOES strike the same spot twice!

This book is a laugh a minute! I read this book long into the night, and woke my husband from a sound sleep when my laughing got out of control. Talk about a mess a minute! Peter and Kiya are just too much fun!

I have been a fan of Katie MacAlister's books for a while now, and this one is right up there with her other books. We still have the same type creatures as we find in all her other books. And the Watch are alive and well in this book.

I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone who wishes a good laugh and who loves a bit of romance thrown in. And mystery, boy do we have a mystery! And as usual Katie MacAlister uses her humor and all sorts of twists and turns to keep us off our feet for the entire novel.

When I turned to the last page in my Kindle I was nearly crying because I wanted MORE!!!! Luckily I know her novella is due out in August with the next book in the series due out shortly thereafter! Thank God for that!

Well what are you waiting for? Go grab your own copy!!!!

If you're still not convinced just watch this and THEN GO GRAB YOUR OWN COPY!!!
